Packaged in a rugged, waterproof IP67 enclosure and supporting a variety of sensors such as temperature and door, the Hybrid+ is a complete trailer tracking solution designed for your trailer tracking needs, automatically switching from regular vehicle tracking mode to asset tracking mode when external power is disconnected, providing comprehensive visibility for trailers parked at job sites waiting to be unloaded and reloaded.

For temperature controlled trailers, the Hybrid lets you monitor up to 6 different wired cold zones simultaneously or 50 wireless cold zones  for maximum temperature monitoring and control.

How It Works

Real-Time Vehicle Tracking Mode

When externally powered (tethered to the power of the trailer), the Hybrid IoT operates in real-time vehicle tracking mode sending up-to-the date and pin-point information in real time. 

Trailer Tracking Mode
Once power is disconnected, the Hybrid IoT automatically switches to Asset Tracking (AT) mode, sending an alert on trailer disconnect and providing complete visibility on the whereabouts of your trailer, sending a GPS check in 1/ day when parked (user-definable).

Vibration or Motion Mode

In AT Mode, once movement/vibration is detected, the Hybrid IoT will automatically wake up, send an alert and will report more frequently for as long as the vibration continues. For example, every 30 minutes or as configured by the user.

Portable Tracker Mode

The Hybrid IoT can be supplied with a DC plug in place of the wire harness. With this configuration, the Hybrid IoT serves as a standalone, autonomous container or asset tracker with a 5-year battery life or up to 5000 GPS on a single charge when powered by the internal 7800 mAH rechargeable lithium battery.

Telematics Integrated with IoT

In addition to it’s GPS trailer tracking functionality , various IoT BLE tags have been integrated with the Hybrid IoT, enabling the device to act as an IoT Gateway, which is used to process and forward the IoT data to the server- for an all around connected fleet.

Up to 5 Years Battery Life

When powered by the large 7800Mamp battery can report up to 5,000 GPS positions off a single charge. Once external power is restored, the internal battery will recharge.

IO’s

2 digital inputs, 1 digital output and 1 analog input allow for various types of sensors such as pressure, temperature, engine on/off, vibration alarm, door open/close and more.

Temperature Monitoring

Supports up to 6 wired digital temperature sensors, allowing you to monitor up to 6 different cold zones simultaneously.

Over The Air Configuration

Easily reconfigure the Hybrid+ OTA or by sending SMS commands.

SMS Alarms

When an event is detected, the Hybrid is programmable to send an SMS alarm to mobile phones together with the current GPS coordinates.
